With twelve distinct fibers running the gamut from hearty to fine, the regular fiber club offers the widest array of bases from which to choose.  Every single month will yield a different fiber!  Some will be superwash (non-felting), others will be left closer to their natural state.  Each will be dyed in the month’s colorway, and each pairing of colorway and fiber will be carefully considered in order to bring you the best match of sight and texture available. In no particular order, the bases are as follows:

  • Ecru/Black Merino
  • SW Targhee
  • Cheviot
  • SW Merino/Merino/Silk
  • Wensleydale
  • SW Merino/Bamboo/Nylon
  • Falkland
  • Masham
  • Polwarth/Silk
  • SW Merino
  • BFL
  • Other (TBD)

That last one I leave blank in case my wholesaler gets in a special fiber with a limited quantity.  As you can see, some are blends, some are breed specific wools.  Several of the blends have Merino as a base, and while it looks, on paper, like a lot of Merino, I promise you that each base feels and spins differently from the rest.  In case of availability issues, I reserve the right to replace any of these fibers with another; they will always be equitable in terms of price and quality.

If you’d like to broaden your spinning horizons, why not join the Regular fiber club?  For US members, the club is only $21 a month including shipping.  So little to lose, and so much fibery goodness to gain!  Join now by visiting our club page and filling out the information there.
